What is Cosmetic Acupuncture?  

Cosmetic Acupuncture is a modality that can enhance not only your appearance, but your overall health.  The purpose of cosmetic acupuncture is to bring out a healthy glow from within, minimizing fine lines and wrinkles and softening deeper ones.

While cosmetic acupuncture does not produce the drastic results of a facelift, it does help in increasing the firmness of the skin and reduces under eye bags and circles.

Depending on what your lifestyle has been, your practitioner will assess how many treatments are needed.  If you are or were a smoker or like to bathe in the sun, results may take longer.  As your underlying health improves, so will your skin.

What Can I Expect?

Your initial consultation usually lasts fifteen minutes and includes a detailed medical history and review of your overall health.  Your practitioner will then insert needles based on your personal pattern of imbalance.  

You will also have very small and fine needles placed in and around wrinkles on your face.  Your session concludes with a luxurious skin exfoliation and moisturization with various Chinese herbs.
